Like you, we love getting outside.
Problem is we just couldn't find gear that suited all our adventures. It was either too expensive or just cheap & nasty.
So, we set out to create better gear for every adventure. Gear that is versatile, reliable and is easy to use when it's needed most.

Born From Experience In Wanaka, New Zealand
WHO WE ARE
It all began when Matt, a former outdoor adventure guide, set out on a mission to create better gear for all his adventures.
He was tired of buying expensive gear that would barely get used and even more frustrated by the cheap and nasty stuff. So off he went to design better gear that would suit all his adventures.
Then along came Cody with this passion for the outdoors and everything camping. With a keen eye for great stuff and creating awesome gear, it was a perfect fit.
So here we are, just a pair of outdoor lovers creating gear we love to use and bringing it from New Zealand to the world!
We can't wait to have you along for the ride.

The world's wild places are what inspire us so it's no surprise we adopted the name of one of the worlds most interesting and wild animals, the Kea!
The Kea is a spectacular but endangered native New Zealand Alpine Parrot that likes to explore and use tools to help it thrive in the outdoors, just like us!
We are passionate about these special birds that's why we have partnered with the 'Kea Conservation Trust' to support their mission to protect the Kea in the wild by donating a portion of our sales each year.
